It's the last day (Mon.) to request an absentee ballot for November elections in Iowa.

Elections for school board members, city council members, and city mayors will be on ballots across the state, along with other initiatives.

In Des Moines, voters will decide on a 265-million-dollar bond for Des Moines Public Schools.

Voters will be able to request an absentee ballot by turning in a request form, available on the Secretary of State's website here, to their county auditor's office by 5 p.m. today.
