The City of Omaha is holding an informational open house on planned improvements to Tranquility Park.
The session will be Thursday, October 23rd, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Saddlebrook Community Center, 14850 Laurel Ave.
The city says the event will provide an opportunity for community members to view updates on Tranquility Park improvements, including upgraded soccer facilities, with enhanced lighting, new restrooms, concessions, and improved accessibility across the park.
It will be an open house format where attendees can visit information stations, ask questions, and share feedback with the city and project team members.
Coordinated roadway improvements along Fort Street will also be on display, including information on anticipated construction staging to maintain neighborhood access and minimize disruption.
