(Lincoln, NE) -- The Lincoln Police Department releases the identity of the victim from Thursday's homicide.
Investigators say 43-year-old Tracy Henman of Lincoln was found deceased in her home Thursday morning after officers entered the property during a "check welfare" call.
Police say the suspect, a 40-year-old Lincoln man known to the victim, remains in the hospital with injuries.
At this time, LPD is not releasing his name as he has not yet been booked in jail.
Charges are pending and are subject to change based on the outcome of an autopsy and other factors.
