(Des Moines, IA) -- A Des Moines man is sentenced to up to 55 years in prison for sexually abusing a minor.
33 year-old Tyler Hardwick was sentenced Thursday after entering an Alford guilty plea to 10 counts of second-degree sexual assault and one count of incest. Hardwick must serve 35 to 55 years will be a registered sex offender for the rest of his life.
Hardwick was convicted of sexually abusing a minor multiple times over the course of a two and a half year period.
