(Creston, IA) -- A Creston man is arrested in connection with the kidnapping of a juvenile who jumped from his moving vehicle to escape.
Creston Police say a girl met 21-year old Jayson Peavler to sell him a personal item.
He's accused of assaulting her after trying to forcibly take the item, accelerating the vehicle as she tried to exit.
She suffered non-life threatening injuries after jumping out of the vehicle.
Peavler was arrested the next day and faces charges that include Kidnapping, Robbery and Assault.
