(Waterloo, IA) -- Waterloo voters failed to elect a mayor yesterday.

Neither candidate received enough votes to break the 50% threshold required to win.

Incumbent mayor Quentin Hart received 49.7% support, while Dave Boesen received 40.8%.

Two other candidates failed to break the 10% mark.

Hart and Boesen will face off in a runoff election on December 3rd.
