(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- Leaders with the Cedar Rapids School District say they don't plan on asking for a recount of ballots cast in the $117-million bond referendum Tuesday.

The District's latest attempt to fund improvements at four area schools failed by just 165 votes despite being reduced by almost half from a failed bond issue two years ago.

Believe in CR Schools campaign officials say they understand that many voters were concerned about the hike in property taxes as a result of the bond.
