(Urbandale, IA) -- The Urbandale Community School District announces the appointment of an interim superintendent.
Dr. Pam Dodge will serve as the district's interim superintendent while current superintendent Dr. Rosalie Daca is on extended medical leave. The school board approved hiring Dodge to serve in the role during its meeting on Monday. Dodge has more than twenty years of experience serving in administrative leadership roles in public school districts throughout central Iowa, including Ankeny, North Polk, Ogden, and Dallas Center-Grimes.
Dodge holds multiple degrees from Iowa State University, including a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership Policy Studies, a masters in Education Leadership and Policy Studies, and a bachelors degree in Elementary Education.
