(Marshalltown, IA) -- An athletic assistant at Marshalltown High School has been arrested for having an inappropriate relationship with a former student .
Stacy Galema faces charges of sexual exploitation by a school employee and lascivious conduct with a minor.
Marshalltown Police say their investigation revealed that the relationship lasted from 2014 to 2019.
The school district has placed Galema on administrative leave and is cooperating with law enforcement.
