Central Iowa Investigators Identify Victims Recorded In Public Bathrooms

(Central Iowa) -- Students from ten schools attended a cross country meet in Marshall County, where video was secretly recorded in a public bathroom.

Marshall County Sheriff Joel Phillips says 13 of the 52 victims have been identified so far.

"We want to involve the schools because we want to make sure we have permission to speak with the kids. We are working off (facial) images, so we don't know who these individuals are, " said Phillips. "The majority of them were juvenile high school and middle school students. "

The recordings were taken at a cross country meet held September 23rd at the Lincoln Valley Golf Course in State Center.

As WHO Radio reported November 13, Des Moines police have identified over three dozen victims who were also secretly recorded in a port o potty last month at the Harvest & Handmade Festival at Water Works Park.

"We're meeting with those people, having them take a look at the video and making the determination whether or not they are going to participate in the court proceedings that are ahead, " Des Moines Police spokesman, Sergeant Paul Parizek said.

32-year old Tyler Pavlik is charged in both cases and remains held in the Polk County Jail.
