(Polk County, IA) -- A woman is seriously hurt after a single-vehicle crash Monday morning in Polk County.
The Polk County Sheriff's Office says the crash was reported a little before 7:30 Monday morning in a rural area. Investigators say the vehicle had gone off the road and was found in a ditch resting against a tree. The driver and only occupant was ejected from the vehicle and was taken to an area hospital in serious condition.
The name of the driver has not yet been released.
