(Des Moines, IA) -- Emergency crews will be conducting a fire drill at MercyOne Medical Center in downtown Des Moines Tuesday afternoon.
MercyOne says patients and visitors may see an increased presence of emergency response crews for the joint drill between MercyOne and the Des Moines Fire Department. The drill is conducted annually and will test the fire suppression system and simulate an emergency requiring coordination between MercyOne and the Des Moines Fire Department. MercyOne says hospital services will not be affected during the drill, and all operations will proceed as normal.
The drill is scheduled for 2pm on Tuesday, December 2nd.
