(Des Moines, IA) -- More snow is on the way this weekend for parts of Central and Northwest Iowa, where there is a Winter Storm Watch this weekend.
National Weather Service Meteorologist Brooke Hagenhoff says four to seven inches of snow is expected between Saturday afternoon through early Sunday morning.
She says the higher amounts are predicted across parts of northern Iowa, with three to six inches of snow are expected to fall in the Des Moines metro.
Hagenhoff says travel on Saturday night will likely be hazardous because of slippery roads.
It comes after more than a foot of snow fell in some places across Iowa last weekend.
