President Trump Attends Dignified Transfer At Dover Air Force Base For National Guard Members Killed In Syria

(Dover AFB, DE) -- President Trump was at the dignified transfer of two Iowa National Guard soldiers killed in Syria.

The solemn duty for the Commander-in-Chief took place at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware.

Trump also meeting with the families of Sergeants William Howard of Marshalltown and Edgar Torres-Tovar of Des Moines.

The two were killed last weekend along with a civilian interpreter from Michigan after a gunman attacked a security meeting.

Both Torres Tovar and Howard were members of the 1st Squadron, 113th Calvary Regiment.
