(Des Moines, IA) -- Iowa is announcing its plans to celebrate the nation’s 250th anniversary next year.
The America’s Harvest Festival in October will highlight Iowa’s role in feeding and fueling the world as part of the celebration of the nation’s 250th birthday. Multiple events will also take place throughout the year, including a tribute to 250 Iowans at the Iowa State Fair in August and the release of two documentaries produced by Iowa PBS.
