(Palo, IA) -- Another step in getting Iowa's only nuclear reactor back online is now riding the rails.

A 200-ton generating rotor from the Duane Arnold Nuclear Station is on a train on its way to a GE plant in Schenectady, New York for refurbishment.

NextEra Energy hopes to have the plant near Palo back up and running in 2029 to supply power to Google's new Cedar Rapids data center.
