(Moline, IL) -- Black Hawk College is receiving a 200-thousand dollar state grant to improve its welding program.
The grant funding from the Illinois Community College board will create a new program for students learning English as a Second Language, and those completing their GEDs, to learn welding alongside their core classes.
The program is set to begin next fall.
