The bodies of two National Guard soldiers killed in Syria are back home in Iowa.
Edgar Brian Torres-Tovar and William Nathaniel Howard were killed in a terrorist attack on December 13th.
An honorable transfer ceremony was held Wednesday with their caskets at Des Moines International Airport.
Torres-Tovar was from Des Moines, while Howard was from Marshalltown. Both were posthumously promoted to Staff Sergeant.
A service for Howard is scheduled for Saturday morning at Marshalltown High School. Visitation for Torres-Tovar will be held on Sunday with a funeral and burial on Monday.
