(Des Moines, IA) -- The first baby born in 2026 in central Iowa arrived early this morning in Des Moines. Dezi Kay Williams was born at 12:20 a.m. at Iowa Methodist Medical Center.
When asked how she feels about her daughter being the New Year’s baby, mom Alicia said she thinks it means her little girl is bound to be extra special.
