(Davenport, IA) -- A trial over liability for the partial collapse of a Davenport apartment building that killed three men two-and-a-half years ago is being scheduled for August of next year.
Lawsuits against the building owner, contractors who worked on it, and the city of Davenport had been paused while the city appealed a lower court decision to deny immunity to city employees.
The appeal to the Iowa Supreme Court was denied in November.
