(Des Moines, IA) -- The City of Des Moines will launch a new community learning series this week.
The series from the city's Community Impact and Relations Department is designed to engage with community members on a wide range of topics, host speakers with unique perspectives, and provide hands-on learning activities. Participants can pick up an Impact Pass at the first event they attend, and those who attend all 12 events will be recognized at the end of the year.
The first event is scheduled for Thursday, January 15th and is called "Breaking In: Leveling Up: A Young Professionals Career Program." It will be held from 6pm-7:30pm at The Bank at the Little Book, located at 520 Euclid Avenue.
