(Des Moines, IA) -- A man with multiple felony warrants caused major delays on I-235 after crashing a stolen vehicle into a semi.
Des Moines Police say officers spotted a stolen Chevy Tahoe near 6th and University on Monday afternoon. When they tried to stop the SUV, the driver fled onto the interstate.
Police say 64-year-old Thomas Campbell crashed into another car before slamming into a semi and becoming wedged under its trailer.
Campbell was taken into custody and is now being held at the Polk County Jail.
