(Des Moines, IA) -- A new study ranks Des Moines among the most livable metro areas in the country.
The analysis by RentCafe evaluated 17 factors, including cost of living, the share of highly educated residents, and access to healthcare providers.
Des Moines placed 4th overall, ranking 3rd for location and community and 29th for quality of life.
Washington, D.C., claimed the top spot as the most livable metro, while McAllen, Texas, ranked last.
