The National Weather Service in Omaha forecasts a 60 to 90 percent chance of snow in the area Friday night through Saturday.
Snowfall totals are expected to peak in the two- to- four- inch range along the Nebraska-Kansas border with totals decreasing northward toward the Omaha/Council Bluffs Metro.
Expect slippery driving conditions Friday night through Saturday.
Snowfall will linger through Saturday, moving out of the region Saturday night.
Dangerous cold is expected to continue through Monday morning with wind chills each morning in the negative teens to 20 degrees below zero.
