(Des Moines, IA) -- Historic City Hall in Des Moines is now closed to the public.
The building served as the center of official business for the City of Des Moines for 114 years and 29 days. All of the city's customer service functions have left the building. The City Clerk's office, Finance office, and the City Manager's Office have moved to the T.M. Franklin Cownie City Administration Building located at 1200 Locust Street.
