(West Des Moines, IA) -- West Des Moines Police are continuing their search for a man accused of firing at an officer earlier this week. Investigators say 20-year-old Andrew Clark shot at an officer Monday evening after police responded to reports of a man armed with a gun.
The department says officers executed search warrants at two homes, one in West Des Moines and another in Clive, but Clark was not found.
He faces two charges: attempted murder of a peace officer and intimidation with a dangerous weapon.
Anyone with information on Clark’s location is asked to contact law enforcement.
