(Linn County, IA) -- The Linn County Board of Supervisors is making amendments to an ordinance allowing new data centers.
A second reading was held for the ordinance yesterday.
An amendment to the ordinance will require data centers to submit plans for waste management before permits are issued for building.
The ordinance also addresses light pollution and decommissioning requirements.
The data center ordinance will get a third and final reading tomorrow.
