(West Des Moines, IA) -- On Saturday, the annual Guns n' Hoses hockey game will pit firefighters from across the metro against police officers from area police departments, with proceeds going to charity.

The game is scheduled for 3pm on Saturday, February 28th at the MidAmerican Energy Company RecPlex in West Des Moines located at 6500 Grand Avenue. Tickets to the event include admission to the Des Moines Buccaneers game Saturday night at 7pm against Sioux Falls. The event will also feature a raffle for various prizes. Lieutenant Ryan Anderson with the West Des Moines Police Department tells WHO Radio News:

"We will have a signed jersey by a Des Moines Bucs player. We'll be selling $10 raffle tickets to win the jersey. We have all kinds of items that usually come in. I know the Iowa Wild is donating something, and that helps to raise money for Easter Seals of Iowa."

Tickets for the game can be purchased through the Des Moines Buccaneers website.
