(Linn County, IA) -- A psychologist testified Matthew Schleier was very much aware of what he was doing when he fatally strangled his five year-old son eighteen months ago.
Final testimony in Schleier's first-degree murder trial is expected today in Linn County court before lawyers for both sides file their closing arguments.
A judge will review those before arriving at a verdict.
Schleier waived his right to a jury trial.
