(Des Moines, IA) -- Drake University’s School of Journalism and Mass Communication has named Iowa Representative Jennifer Konfrst as its next Associate Dean, beginning this upcoming academic year.
Konfrst has been a member of Drake’s faculty since 2013, teaching public relations and political communication.
She announced last week that she will retire from the Iowa House at the end of this year, and last month suspended her campaign for Iowa’s 3rd Congressional District.
