Missing Central Iowa Woman Found Alive

( Ringgold Co, IA) -- A Central Iowa woman with Alzheimers Disease who has been missing for days has been found alive.

The Ringgold County Sheriff tells WHO Radio 78-year old Cheryl Anderson was located by deputies around noon today.

Anderson drove away from her home in Cumming on Tuesday and has been the subject of an intense search.

Her abandoned vehicle was found in rural Ringgold County in Southwest Iowa on Wednesday.

Ringgold County Sheriff Rob Haley says 50 people, drones, canines and a state patrol plane searched for Anderson throughout the day Thursday.

She was transported to a local hospital after being found Friday
