President Trump oversaw the dignified transfer of the U.S. servicemembers killed during Operation Epic Fury. The somber ceremony was held at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware. The six Army Reserve soldiers died in an attack in Kuwait on Sunday, the day after the U.S. and Israel launched strikes on Iran. Speaking earlier in Florida, Trump called it a "very sad situation" to greet the families of the fallen. He added, "they're great heroes in our country." Trump was accompanied by Secretary of War Pete Hegseth.

All six servicemembers were from the 103rd Sustainment Command based in Des Moines. The departed are Sergeant First Class Nicole Amor, Captain Cody Khork, Sergeant Declan Coady, Chief Warrant Officer 3 Robert Marzan, Major Jeffrey O'Brien and Sergeant First Class Noah Tietjens.
