(Johnson County, IA) -- Two Johnson County Supervisors will be running against each other in November.

Friday was the deadline to register for the June 2nd primary for November's vote.

Due to a new state law directing counties with regent universities to elect supervisors by district rather than at-large, current Johnson County supervisors V Fixmer-Oraiz and Rod Sullivan will vie for the same seat.

Five incumbents, all Democrats, are running for re-election. Three Republicans are each running for a separate seat.
