(Cedar Falls, IA) -- The University of Northern Iowa is announcing new three‑year accelerated degree programs for more than 30 majors.

The programs will be offered in fields including technology, education, public service, media, and human and natural resources.

UNI says the three‑year pathways are designed to help students complete their degrees more efficiently and enter Iowa’s workforce sooner.

The university adds that one in seven UNI students already graduate in three years rather than the traditional four.
