Suspect in Des Moines Homicide Taken Into Custody in Chicago

(Des Moines, IA) -- A man wanted in connection with a Des Moines homicide has been taken into custody in Chicago. 28-year-old Davian Lindsey is accused of shooting and killing 45-year-old Daniel Lott Senior during a dispute at an apartment on the city’s northeast side on March 22.

According to law enforcement, Lindsey fled the Des Moines area after the shooting. Officials say they are now working to bring him back to Des Moines to face a first-degree murder charge. The investigation remains ongoing.
