(Linn County, IA) -- Linn County residents are expressing concerns over changes to pollution regulations in light of plans for a new power plant near Fairfax.
A new Iowa law prohibits counties from having pollution guidelines stricter than the state's.
At a Board of Supervisors meeting on the matter Monday residents were assured that the new plant and the changes weren't connected.
Additional meetings on the changes are scheduled for tomorrow and Monday.
