(Iowa) -- Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds orders all flags in Iowa to fly at half staff on Memorial Day.

The order calls for flags statewide to be flown at half-staff from sunrise until noon on Monday, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day. Flags at all public buildings, grounds and facilities throughout the state will fly at half-staff during that time, including those at the State Capitol Building and Capitol Complex.

Individuals, schools, counties, and municipalities are encouraged to fly flags at half staff during the same length of time.
