(Huxley, IA) -- A southbound portion of Interstate 35 between Ames and Ankeny will close overnight starting Wednesday.
The Iowa Department of Transportation says Southbound I-35 will be closed starting at 10pm on Wednesday until 5am on Thursday, weather permitting, from the U.S. 30 interchange, Exit 111, to the 126th Avenue Interchange, Exit 96.
The closure includes the southbound I-35 rest area. A detour will be posted during the closure.
