(Stuart, IA) -- A two-year-old child was airlifted to a Des Moines hospital after being found unresponsive in a pond in Stuart.
The Stuart Police Department says officers received a report of the unresponsive child Tuesday afternoon. Law enforcement performed life-saving measures at the scene before the child was transported to Blank Children’s Hospital.
The child’s condition is unknown at this time. Police say the incident remains under investigation.
