(Des Moines, IA) -- Fire crews responded to reports of smoke at a Des Moines apartment building Saturday night.
Five fire trucks and several other emergency vehicles responded to Ingersoll Towers on the 3600 block of Ingersoll Avenue at about 8:30 p.m.
Residents tell WHO Radio News smoke coming from trash chutes filled the hallways.
Des Moines Fire Captain Mitch Duver says crews were able to get the fire extinguished and ventilate the building.
No injuries were reported and no residents are displaced.
