Beloved Nevada Restaurant Destroyed in Fire

(Neveda, IA) -- A beloved Nevada restaurant is a total loss after an accidental fire.

The Nevada Fire Department responded to reports of a fire at the Starbuck Drive-In restaurant and arrived to find thick black smoke coming from the building. Crews were able to bring the fire under control quickly. Officials say the fire is believed to have been caused by an overloaded electrical system.

No injuries were reported.

The restaurant, opened by the Starbuck family in 1956, had recently celebrated 70 years in business.
