Fort Dodge, Iowa juvenile charged in robberies

UPDATE:

(Fort Dodge, Iowa)  Fort Dodge Police have arrested a 15-year-old juvenile in connection with robbing the Yesway, at 1601 5th Avenue South, on two separate occasions, July 15th and October 24th of this year.

After the most recent robbery, officers arrived within one minute of the call, but were unable to find any suspects.   Police however, received information about the suspect's identity, conducted a search warrant and found evidence from the robberies.

The 15-year-old male was taken into custody and charged with two counts of Robbery-First Degree, one count for each incident.

The juvenile will be taken to the Iowa State Training Center in Eldora.

(Fort Dodge, Iowa)    Police are looking for a suspect who robbed a Fort Dodge convenience store overnight.   Police say it happened at the Yesway at 1601 5th Avenue South, shortly after 3:00 a.m.

The store's clerk says the suspect was wearing all black, and showed a knife, then left the store with cash and merchandise.   

The clerk was not injured.
