Northern Iowa bracing for more snow

The National Weather Service is predicting another spring snow storm.  A wintry mix is expected to develop past midnight over west-central to northwest Iowa, and turn to all snow over northern Iowa by Wednesday morning.

Forecasters are predicting moderate to heavy snow through the late morning hours in northern Iowa.  Snow is expected to taper off by the afternoon, but gusty northwest winds will cause  blowing and drifting, causing significant visibility restrictions.

Further south, a wintry mix of snow, freezing rain and sleet is forecast before transitioning to all snow by around midday.

Cold conditions are expected into Friday, warmer temperatures should arrive this weekend and into early next week.
