(WEST DES MOINES, Iowa) West Des Moines Valley High School Associate Principal David Maxwell is being recommended to be the next principal. Current Valley Princial Tim Miller is retiring.
Maxwell's been the associate principal at Valley for the last 13-years.
He previously served as a dean of students at Hoover High School in Des Moines, Iowa.
Grundmeyer Leader Search LLC assisted West Des Moines Community Schools with the recruiting and hiring process. Maxwell was selected from a pool of 22 applicants.
The recommendation is pending approval by the West Des Moines School Board.
