DES MOINES, Iowa- A power outage has impacted nearly 22-hundred MidAmerican Energy customers, primarily in West Des Moines today (Thursday).
A MidAmerican Energy Spokesperson tells WHO Radio News a construction crew, working near South 50th Street in West Des Moines accidentally struck an underground line, causing the outage.
The utility says their crews are working to restore service as soon as possible.
