The Golden Oldies Barbershop Quartet - Harmony Delegation

The Golden Oldies Quartet from Harmony Delegation Chorus serenaded listeners on Maxwell & Friends. The Des Moines Barbershop Harmony Society ChapterHarmony Delegation is an all-male a cappella chorus located in Des Moines Iowa. Since 1946, we have brought men together in harmony and fellowship enriching lives with singing. TheHarmony Delegation actively promotes a cappella music for men of all ages and walks of life. It consists of men who come from various musical backgrounds and organizations, as well those who may not presently be affiliated with any organized musical group. The Chapter endorses the Barbershop Harmony Society goals to establish programs to promote and support singing among seniors, youth, within communities, and among underserved populations. They provide world class performances to Central Iowa. We initiate and maintain a broad program of music education though our youth outreach and lifetime learning and singing experiences. Since 2008 we have served over 1200 young men singers in our Harmony Explosion events.
