Shae Smolik is an actress from Iowa making it BIG!
Shae Smolik joined us downtown at the Farmers Market to discuss the projects she working on. She is a 10-year-old SAG actress and a rising star from Iowa. She just got back from LA where she was working on a new feature film opposite Haylie Duff (Hillary Duff's sister) and we caught up with her.
She has been cast as a series regular on a comedy titled Play by Play that is filmed in her home state of Iowa! Play by Play will premiere on the go90.com streaming service on June 27th and just got picked up for seasons 2 and 3!
She was also in “Trafficked” (2016) opposite Elisabeth Rohm, “The Hatred” with Malek Akkad producing, and the drama “Pursued” by director Doug Campbell. She's been on Criminal Minds, Fameless, and has been on numerous commercials.
