The people who have brought us Fong's Pizza, El Bait Shop, and The Iowa Tap Room have been very busy and announced they are launching four new projects. Jeff Bruning of Full Court Press announced two of those restaurants on WHO Radio.
The first one is called Truman's KC Pizza Tavern. It will take over the old Margarita's Mexican Restaurant Building in the East Village on SE 6th St. and Racoon. It's a bar food, pizza model that will be a tribute to Kansas City sports teams.
The second one will be named The Chicken and will take over the Rusty Spokes building near Orilla on the SW side of the metro.
