Daphne Dickens of the American Diabetes Association joined us in the studio just after 8:30 this morning. This year is the 50th anniversary of Camp Hertko Hollow in Iowa. Camp Hertko is a camp for kids with diabetes in Iowa. On May 6th, American Diabetes Association and Camp Hertko will be sponsoring an event at Prairie Meadows called "Derby for Diabetes" at 6PM, right after the running of the Kentucky Derby. There will be a presentation, entertainment and a live auction. Plus Jeff Angelo has thrown down the gauntlet and challenged me to see who can get the most peeps in their mouth.
