Automotive expert Ken Chester joined us in the studio this morning just after the 6:30 news. Ken is just back from the New York Car Show and was really impressed with some of the upcoming technology he saw. He is looking forward to the new Genesis SUV in 2019. It's not a cookie-cutter SUV. And the car he had a hard time even getting close enough to see because of the crowd around it is the Rimac Concept One...the fastest car in the world. Allison Piazza of Easter Seals Camp Sunnyside joined us in the studio just after the 8:30 news. The Easter Seals Iowa Walk for Independence is April 29th. They will be walking around Lake Cheerio at Camp Sunnyside, 401 NE 66th Avenue in Des Moines. It's a one-mile walk around the lake to support individuals with disabilities. Enjoy family-friendly entertainment including superheroes, princesses, archery, kid's games, bounce house, marshmallow roast, a balloon artist, face painting, mascots, camp crafts, food trucks and more. Everything begins at 7:30AM to Noon....the walk begins at 10AM. June 8th is the ribbon cutting for the new indoor pool. Reservations are now being taken for Summer Day Camps at Camp Sunnyside.
